Unwish

In Unwish, the main character is about to have their greatest wish come true, but that is bound to eventually become their deepest regret. Before the deal is sealed, the wishmaker will have to walk through a series of potential future events, in their last chance to change their mind.

This is a minimalistic tabletop role-playing game for 2 to 4 players, light on rules and heavy on improvisation and character introspection. One player takes on the role of the wishmaker, while the rest think of possible futures where either the wish has backfired, or greater happiness has been achieved without it. They each run a short 1-on-1 scene with the wishmaker's player letting those scenarios play out. In the end, depending on how convincing the scenes were and on a series of coin tosses, the fate of the protagonist is decided.
